Julie, Hayley and Craig at Wellington Arch, London.
Same place but zoomed.
At the gates of the Palace.
Another view of the Palace.
The insanely large crowd on the Mall.
Spring tulips, among other flowers in St James Park.
At lunch with Andrew.
"Kingsize" bunting in Regent St.
At the "Back to the Future" musical. Great show.
On top of the One New Chance shopping centre, very close to St Pauls. Not in the same architectual league.
St Pauls Cathedral from a slightly different angle than usual.
St Pauls and the Millennium Bridge (pedestrians only).
Inside Mr Fogg's bar.
Round one of cocktails at Mr Fogg's.
Round two (I was still on the red so didn't get in the photo)
Their amazing gold foil coasters.
A sound and light show at one of the entrances to Tottenham Court Rd station
Surprises never cease in London.
Julie on our walk in Densole, where we stayed for a few nights near Folkestone. Note the wider picture size, now to be the norm.
Seagull sitting on the car if fron of us in the queue for passport control at Dover. The seagulls here are huge compared to those at home.
On the banks of the Ruhr River next to our campsite in Essen.
A few barges on a canal adjactent to the Ruhr
The River Elbe at our campsite in Geesthacht near Hamburg.
Floating restaurant next to the campsite.
A couple of visitors in Geesthacht.
Our campsite at Middelfart.
Street scene in a pedestrian mall in Middelfart.
Our camp in Copenhagen. Another marina parking area.
The Church of our Saviour tower.
A view from the lower outer level of the tower.
More from the tower.
From higher up the spire. Julie went up the rest the way on her own.
From the high level again.
Using high zoom from the ground. That's Julie on her way down.
One of the many squares in Copenhagen.
The Royal Castle.
Changing of the guard. They march from the Castle to the Palace, about a 15 minute march. They do have police clearing the way for them.
The Round Tower. It is attached to a church which used to be the university. On top of the tower is an astronomical observatory, used for uni study many years ago. The church have reclaimed the site now. Not the inclined plane walkway. Steep on the inside, less so on the outside.
In Tivoli Gardens, a Disneyland right in the middle of the city.
Some great rides in Tivoli.
The Oresund Bridge in the distance, our camp just off screen on the right. On our way home.
Kongens Nytorv, otherwise known as Kings New Square. Wonderful buildings, so much character.
The middle of the Square from a different angle.
A canal boat in the harbour area. We did the tour on this boat. Very colourful area.
Copenhagen Opera House from the boat.
More great views from the boat.
The Marble Church or Frederik's Church.
Part of the Royal Palace. There 4 such Palaces in a big square.
The Little Mermaid statue, tribute to Hans Christian Andersen.
In the Royal Castle, just a little bit over the top with the ceiling mouldings.
The frame says it all.
The Throne room.
The crowns in the crown jewels.
On the approach to the Oresund Bridge. Goodbye Demark, hello Sweden.
